Happy June friends! Back before we were a workshop/gathering company, Painted by the Shore (PBTS) was a handmade art business through which I created & sold my own work. Lots of nautical inspiration, wholesale, shipping around the world & local craft fairs. And one of my favorite things to paint/share was the below starfish design!
Fast forward to today when we've gathered with tens of thousands of you around New England to create some AMAZING things (TAP HERE to find a workshop near you), & I'm left with a new appreciation/thankfulness for the role this design played in helping PBTS gain traction as a handmade company, to a point where I was encouraged to teach a paint and sip style event & fell in absolute love with teaching/working with all of you locally.
Long story short, I'm super excited to create this design with you all today, & we can't wait to get started! Here is today's material list:
- Small Round Brush
- FolkArt Multi-Purpose Acrylic Craft Paint in Patina, Aqua & Titanium White
- I used a 11" x 9" pre-painted wooden panel in our demo, BUT this design will work on anything. One note- if painting on glass, read the back of your paint BEFORE purchasing to confirm it's suited for that surface specifically.
